Property Description
Embrace the unique heritage of Vail with this historic single-family home, the former residence of beloved Vail Trailblazers Byron and Vianne ''Vi'' Brown. Situated on a generous 0.72-acre lot, this 3,024 square foot, 7-Bedroom, 3-Bathroom property offers ample opportunity, Gore Range views, privacy, mature trees, and a direct connection to Vail's storied beginnings. Step into the legacy of the family who helped build Vail, championed ski racing, and shaped the town's philanthropic spirit. The Browns built this home in 1969, filling it with the charm and rugged durability of the early ski town era. The large lot and private location provide immense potential for personalization, expansion, or even re-development with over 8,500 square feet of total gross residential floor area allowed. For those who understand the spirit of Vail, this property represents a chance to own a true piece of local history. Byron and Vi Brown dedicated their lives to building this town and its community, and now their home is ready for its next chapter - an opportunity to carry their legacy forward.
